Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at Eisenhower High School! We are eagerly anticipating the start of the new school year and the opportunity to work with our students!

Eisenhower High School is committed to providing all students with the skills and assistance they need to reach their full potential. Our students engage in a rigorous, standards-based, meaningful instructional program on a safe and orderly campus that provides a positive learning environment. Parent communication and involvement in the education of our students is strongly encouraged. Research indicates that a significant correlation exists between parent involvement and student achievement. This year Eisenhower will be forming a PTA which will provide additional opportunities for parents to become involved with the school. We need our parents to be active participants in their child's educational development. We encourage parents to join the PTA, the School Site Council and the English Language Advisory Committee.

As a staff we are focused on improving student achievement, providing a clean, safe and secure campus, improving student attendance and increasing our graduation rate. Although Eisenhower has demonstrated significant growth in recent years, we continue to strive for excellence to ensure that all students will be successful. Our students have repeatedly demonstrated excellence in academics, athletics, visual and performing arts, community service and leadership. The wide variety of outstanding educational experiences and activities we provide for students allow them to develop the pride and confidence needed to excel in school and in life. We want every student to have a positive high school experience!
